SERVICE INFORMATION
If the front seat back needs to be removed for any reason, use the Service Procedure in
this bulletin.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Move/adjust the seat bottom and seat back to the full forward position.
2. Remove the seat back finisher as follows:
a. Reach under the seat and disconnect the 2 elastic straps for the toe flap.

b. Insert your fingers behind the bottom corners of the finisher.

Finisher (Back Board) Clips 87183-9N00B Up to 2 (If needed)
NOTE: l Use this procedure for the front driver or front passenger seat.
l The photos in this procedure are for the passenger seat. The driver seat
is the same.
CAUTION: Use covers as needed to protect interior surfaces from scratches or
damage.
NOTE: The seat back finisher is held on with:
l 2 top hooks
l 2 side hooks
l 2 bottom clips
l 2 elastic straps from toe flap.

c. Pull the finisher to unsnap the bottom clip.

d. Hold the finisher on the outboard side (side towards the door).
l For the passenger seat, the outboard side is to the right.
l For the driver seat, the outboard side is to the left.
e. Pull the finisher to unsnap the outboard side hook.

f. Hold the top of the finisher and push it down about 1 inch.

g. Pull out on the outboard side of the finisher.
h. Reach behind the finisher.

i. Unsnap the inboard side hook.
