The headliner is loose near the rear window.
ACTION
l Replace the three clips located on the Altima and Maxima single sunroof headliner.
l Replace the six clips located on the Maxima dual sunroof headliner.
l Do Not replace the headliner for this incident, if it should occur.

Submit a Primary Part (PP) type line claim using the following claims coding:

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Write down all radio station presets.
RADIO STATION PRESETS CHART
2. Disconnect both battery cables (negative cable first)
l Wait at least 3 minutes after battery cables are disconnected before
proceeding to step 3.
3. Remove the headliner. Refer to the appropriate section in the Service Manual for
removal procedure.
4. Replace the clips. See Figures 1 and 2 to locate clips.

(1) Reference the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and use the indicated
FRT.
(2) Reference the headliner part number from the electronic parts catalog as the
PFP.

5. Reinstall all parts removed in reverse order.
6. Reconnect the battery cables (positive cable first).
7. Reprogram the radio station presets.
8. Reinitialize the power windows and sunroof as applicable. See the Owner's Manual
for details.
9. Confirm this incident has been resolved.
