The Qashqai people are known for their skill in weaving and for their distinctive style of carpets, which feature bold geometric designs and vivid colors.

According to Nissan, the name was chosen for the Qashqai SUV because it evokes a sense of adventure and exploration, as well as a connection to the rugged landscapes and rich cultures of the Middle East.
