9. Version 1 only: Remove the black plastic retainer (retainer) as shown in Figure 8.

^ Pry on the clip ends using a pocket screwdriver or suitable tool, one side at a time (see Figure 8).

10. Remove the level sensor from the module (see Figure 9).

Push the tab inward, and then push the level sensor up, and then pull it away from the module.

11. Install the new level sensor onto the module (no picture shown).

Perform Step 10 in reverse, making sure its tab locks into place.

12. Version 1 only: Reinstall the retainer by snapping it into place (see Figure 10).

^ Make sure the level sensor's wires are not pinched under the retainer.

13. Install the temp sensor into its retention feature (see Figure 11).

14. Version 1 only: Install the temp sensors wiring into the retention feature as shown in Figure 12.

^ Route the temp sensor's wires to the right of the level sensor.

^ Make sure the wiring is clear of float arm movement.

^ Make sure the wiring is within 0.5 inches (13 mm) from the side of the module.

15. Version 2 only: Secure the level sensors wires into the retention features (see Figure 13).

^ Make sure the wiring is within 0.5 inches (13 mm) from the side of the module.
